Job Description:

BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:

1. Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analyst's certificate (BCBA)
2. A valid New Jersey teacher certificate, Educational Services certificate
3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents,
teachers, and other school personnel
4. Expert knowledge of function-based intervention planning for developing behavior change strategies that focuses on reducing problem behavior and increasing more appropriate behavior
5. Knowledge of techniques needed to successfully complete effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), function -based interventions, and resulting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
6. Creativity, patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children
7. Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and make data-driven decisions to support student success
8. Required criminal history background check
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:

The applicant should be knowledgeable about the following:
  1. Use of assessment and assessment data to inform instruction and prescribe work plans for individual students
  2. Research based instructional strategies and ability to implement them effectively
  3. Working with children with diverse behavioral and learning needs in a school or educational setting
