is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of Steel Fabrications and API class Machinery Systems and is currently looking for an experienced machinist at their facility.
Requirements:
A bachelor's or associate's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred 3-5 years of experience in purchasing / procurement preferred (industrial supply is a plus) Proficient in English, with professional business demeanor / language.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (primarily Excel , Outlook and Word ).
Must be task oriented and organized with good communication skills.
Experience with Quickbooks or comparable accounting software is a plus.
Job Description:
Source and purchase project materials as directed by project managers.
Ensure purchased materials are delivered as ordered, on time, and complete.
Review material invoices for accuracy and approve for processing.
Work with QA manager to maintain current vendor assessments and approved vendor list.
Research and assess new potential vendors Evaluate and compare vendor quotes.
Maintain vendor relations and negotiate contract pricing.
Prepare aftermarket parts proposals, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
Coordinate material receipt and shipments with receiving department.
Participate in project and aftermarket parts quotes preparation as required.
