Randy Klein, MD, Medical Director Overview of Position:
Full-time position - 40 hours/week.
Must work day, evening, and rotating weekend shifts and one holiday per year.
Experienced CMA, LPN, or RN degree, medical office and prior management experience required.
Position is 30% administrative and 70% direct patient care.
CMA Supervisor administrative responsibilities include:
Supervision of clinical support staff Train, evaluate, coach, counsel, discipline employees Assure quality of patient care Ensure adequate staffing by establishing schedules, assisting in getting open shifts covered Help ensure practice compliance with regulatory agencies including OSHA, CLIA, and X- Ray Assist in the establishment and enforcement of practice policies Ensure the availability and proper functioning of clinical supplies and equipment Oversee compliance of PCMH-related responsibilities (log books, huddles, gaps in care) Work collaboratively with PCR Supervisor/Staff to ensure excellent customer service Attend management meetings Assist with special projects assigned by Medical Director
Experience:
At least 2
years of supervisory experience required.
Prior experience in medical office environment preferred.
Responsible, self-motivated, team- player.
Effective communication, customer service and team building skills.
Demonstrates an ability to interact with others in a courteous and professional manner and establish good working relationships.
Shifts priorities when a timely response is essential.
Actions reflect sensitivity to patient/customer needs and sense of urgency.
