Behavioral Technician, Independent Living Program - Phillipsburg (20708) 1 Positions Description The Independent Living Program provides supportive housing and oversight to young adults ages 18-20 in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Residents are residing in their own apartments while staff is on site for case management needs, life skills, transportation and other on-going support.
Salary:
$31,470 General duties and responsibilities for a Behavioral Technician are as follows:
On site supervision of residents including daily check-ins, weekly face to face meetings and transportation in an agency vehicle to work, school, doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, etc.
Ensure residents safety and personal development by following program guidelines, residents' treatment plans and on-going work towards residents' goals Administer medication as needed Daily note taking and regular communication with other staff and supervisor Basic housekeeping duties around building and in staff office Requirements High School Diploma or GED Must be 21 years or older Proficient writing and communication skills Ability to work independently during shift with minimal supervision Driver's license with a clean driving history Knowledge of local and state resources pertaining to employment, housing and financial stability would be beneficial This position is full time position with a 4-day work week.
